GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan – Cool temperatures and an overcast sky led to fast times and competitive races at Saturday morning’s USATF 25 km Championships in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as Aliphine Tuliamuk and Sam Chelanga came away victorious.
Members of Congress will try to put talk of collusion, the House Chaplain and the 2018 election behind them, as well as some of their colleagues, as they lead teams in the annual ACLI Capital Challenge®, a three-mile road race. They join participants from all branches of government and the media. According to Director Jeff Darman, "the race has absolutely the fastest Members of Congress entered. These runners are really incredibly fit, fitter than legislators from any other nation!" The race takes place on Wednesday, May 16, at 8:00 a.m. in Washington, D.C.'s Anacostia Park. Australian Sam McEntee wins men’s title in first visit to the event, with more than 1,700 runners participating in downtown Minneapolis - Minneapolis, Minn. – May 10, 2018 – Emily Lipari of San Diego and Australian Sam McEntee won women’s and men’s titles, respectively, at the Medtronic TC 1 Mile tonight in downtown Minneapolis.
Kenya’s Alex Korio, the defending TCS World 10K champion, will return to Bengaluru and take on his compatriot and IAAF World Half Marathon Championships Valencia 2018 winner Geoffrey Kamworor at this year’s race on Sunday 27 May.

Unlike in the women’s race, the record books were not revised by the men at the IAAF/Trinidad Alfonso World Half Marathon Championships Valencia 2018 but that didn’t mean there was an absence of thrills and drama as Kenya’s Geoffrey Kamworor romped away over the final six kilometres to secure his third successive world title over the distance.
