As a follow-up to yesterday's column on the new Athletics World Cup, I'd like to add Robbie Britton's article. I didn't even think about the fact that 1500 meters would be the longest distance race in the meet. Clearly that's not representative of all Track & Field has to offer. He also makes a great point about the competing events the Athletics World Cup has, potentially rather foolishly, scheduled itself against.
