Grandma’s Minnesota Mile Registration Opens

Garry Bjorklund 2013 Half Marathon Entries to 250 Finishers - (Duluth, Minn.) Registration is now available for the Grandma’s Minnesota Mile road race in downtown Duluth. This one-mile event on Sunday, Sept. 9 is open to runners of all skill levels.



Ogden, Utah (August 13, 2012) - In response to a steady increase in demand, the GOAL Foundation (www.getoutandlive.org) will implement a lottery system for the 2013 Half and Full Zions Bank Ogden Marathon slated for May 18.

Team USA takes 1 gold, 2 silver as medals surge to 29

LONDON - A commanding victory in the women’s 4x400 relay and thrilling silvers in the men’s 4x100 and women’s high jump on Saturday night made for an exciting conclusion to track competition at Olympic Stadium. In the process, the 4x100 American record fell and Allyson Felix became the first woman since Florence Griffith-Joyner in 1988 to win three gold medals in one Olympic Games.



LONDON - Annihilating a world record that had stood for 27 years, the U.S. women’s 4x100-meter relay team on Friday night put on a dominant performance that put the U.S. atop the sprint podium for the first time since 1996. It was a night that also saw two other national records in the women’s 4x100, an American record in the men’s 4x100m rounds and a Team USA silver medal in a dramatic men’s 4x400 relay.
