While the world is getting ready for the London Olympics the real "Super Stars" of today are packing up their gear for a trip to "Nationals" for the culmination of their season.



Monaco – Yelena Isinbayeva’s return to Samsung Diamond League action and a red-hot showdown in the men’s high hurdles will be just a pair of the expected highlights at the Herculis Meeting in Monaco on Friday (20), the final major stop before the Athletics world turns its full attention to the Olympic Games in London.

The New & Improved McMillan Running Calculator

You asked and we listened. High school coaches wanted the 1600 and 3200 meter races added to the Calculator so in the most recent update, we've added them. Cross country runners and coaches wanted 6K and 12K added so we've added those as well. Military, police, fire and other emergency personnel asked for the 1.5 mile distance that they often have to use as a performance  test and ultra runners wanted the 50K, 50 Miles, 100K and 100 Miles so we added them as well (though ultra runs are very hard to predict due to the variation in terrain and environmental conditions). 



London, UK - There were no world leads on the second day of the Aviva London Grand Prix – Aviva London Grand Prix on Saturday (14) but there was a sub-20 200m win from Christophe Lemaitre, and a few upsets for Olympic favourites, not least Sally Pearson who suffered her first defeat in eight races to Kellie Wells, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce who stumbled in the first few strides of her 100m and trailed home last.



London, UK – Some 16 Olympic and 15 World champions are set to make an early appearance in the Olympic host city this weekend as the sporting focus switches momentarily from the east of the British capital to its southern edge where the latest stage of the 2012 Samsung Diamond League sets down for the Aviva London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace.
