Coburn, Simpson and Berian return to Boston


Organisers of the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix have announced that world steeplechase champion Emma Coburn and world 1500m silver medallist Jenny Simpson are both set to return to the IAAF World Indoor Tour meeting in Boston on 10 February.



INDIANAPOLIS -- Team USATF will have a talent-laden roster January 13, 2018 as it returns to Scotland to take on the world at the 2018 Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge at Holyrood Park. At last year's event, the U.S. took top honors for the second time in three years with 149 points, beating out Team Europe (152 points) and Team Great Britain (208 points) for the title.

Huddle, who has earned 25 U.S. national championship titles on the track and roads, set the American 10,000-meter record (30:13.17) with a sixth-place finish in the 2016 Rio Olympics. In her highly anticipated first race at the 26.2 mile distance, Huddle ran 2:28:13 to place third at the 2016 New York City Marathon. Huddle, 33, lives and trains in Providence, Rhode Island.

DANIEL TAPIA WINS MONTEREY BAY HALF MARATHON


MONTEREY, CALIF. -- A large, enthusiastic crowd lining the finish line erupted Sunday as Daniel Tapia broke the tape at the Monterey Bay Half Marathon, becoming the first-ever Monterey County native to win the 15-year-old event.
